The Three Main American Bulldog Types!

Height for Males range from 20 to 23 incs. tall and weight when full grown is between 65 to 115 lbs.
Height for Females range from 18 to 22 incs. tall and weight when full grown is between 55 to 100 lbs.
The American Bulldog should generate the impression of great strength. Agility, endurance and exhibit a well-knit, sturdy, compact frame in proportion to size. Males are characteristically larger, heavier boned and more masculine than the bitches. The American Bulldog is a white, white and patched, brindle, tiger brindle, red brindle, fawn brindle, blue brindle, fawn or red dog all of these colors usually with white in many different percentage. When patched he can range from the traditional pied markings of a patch over one or both eyes or ears, a patch on the base of the tail, to a large saddle patch and various other patches or shades of brindling.
American Bulldogs require only moderate excerise and enjoy short walks along with some free runing time in a fence off yard area or dog run kennel. Life expectancy can reach 12 plus years but most live 8 to 10 years with good care. Grooming is easy, requiring only combing and brushing every so often and bathe only when necessary. They shed very little and have short tight hair coats.
